Medical Care

At Soham Seva Sansthan, we believe that access to healthcare is a basic right, not a privilege. Many of the widows and elderly individuals we serve suffer from chronic illnesses but lack the means for regular treatment. To ensure their well-being, we conduct periodic health check-ups and provide monthly life-saving medicines completely free of cost. From doctor consultations to emergency aid, our medical support covers essential care tailored to their needs. With compassion and consistency, we aim to improve their health, reduce suffering, and give them the comfort and dignity they deserve in their final years.

Adopt a Mataji in Vrindavan

Vrindavan is home to nearly 30,000 widows—affectionately called Matajis—who arrive here after losing their spouses, seeking spiritual peace and purpose. Sadly, many are left behind by families and face a life of isolation and poverty. They take shelter in Ashrams, where they live modestly, depending on daily donations and temple services for food and survival. Each Mataji carries a silent story of pain, abandonment, and resilience. While they spend their days in devotion, their basic needs—like nutritious meals, medical aid, clothing, and warmth—often go unmet. Through the “Adopt a Mataji” initiative, you can offer them dignity, care, and comfort. Your monthly support helps transform their lives with essential resources and emotional assurance that someone cares. By adopting a Mataji, you’re not just donating—you’re becoming part of her spiritual and personal journey. Make a difference. Give her the peace she truly deserves.

Help Widows

In the sacred town of Vrindavan, over 800 widows—affectionately known as Matajis—live with limited access to food, shelter, or care. Most have been abandoned or left alone after the loss of their spouses, and now rely on local ashrams or daily temple offerings to survive. Through our Grocery Kits for Widows initiative, we aim to provide essential support in the form of grocery kits, warm blankets, hygiene items, and basic necessities.

Your donation can bring not just food and warmth, but also a sense of dignity and hope to these women who have spent their lives in devotion. With your help, we can ensure they live their remaining years with comfort and love—not fear or neglect. Join us in this noble cause. Help us bring smiles, restore dignity, and light up the lives of Vrindavan’s forgotten mothers. Donate today and make a difference.

Shelter Homes for Widows in Vrindavan

Vrindavan, the holy land of Lord Krishna, is also home to thousands of abandoned widows—women who come seeking spiritual solace but are often left without family support, financial stability, or a safe place to live. Many of these Matajis endure social stigma, loneliness, and deep emotional pain after the loss of their spouses, surviving in conditions of extreme poverty. Recognizing this unspoken suffering, Soham Seva Sansthan has taken the noble initiative to establish shelter homes dedicated to providing care, comfort, and dignity to these women.

Our shelter homes provide a safe, clean, and spiritually nourishing environment where widows can live peacefully, access regular meals, receive medical attention, and spend their remaining years in devotion and community. This initiative is not just about shelter—it’s about restoring humanity, respect, and love to lives that have endured immense pain. Support this cause and help us build homes filled with hope.
